Customized Database Templates for Every Asset Type

ARMS provides pre-built, configurable database templates for weapons, gear, ammunition, personnel, and post assignments. Each template captures the specific attributes relevant to that asset category – no custom development required. Templates are configured rapidly during initial setup and can be updated as your armory’s inventory evolves.

Accurate Location Data

Every issue, return, and inventory scan updates asset location fields instantly. Armorers see the current location of every weapon and piece of gear at any moment – no manual reconciliation needed between events.

Complete Event Logging

From the moment an asset enters the armory to its final disposition, ARMS writes a permanent, timestamped event record to every transfer. The chain-of-custody log is always complete, always auditable, and always tied to the authenticated personnel involved.

Inspection & Maintenance Screens

Built-in template screens for weapon test-firing results, cleaning records, inspection findings, and maintenance services. All records are linked to the weapon’s asset profile, building a complete operational history over the weapon’s service life.

Automated Weapon Certification Tracking

Weapon certifications are not one-size-fits-all. SWAT operators, no-knock entry teams, and standard patrol officers each carry different authorization levels with different recertification cycles. ARMS tracks all of them.

  • Automated due-date tracking: ARMS monitors certification expiry dates for every officer and every authorization type – no manual calendar management required.
  • Authorization-specific cycles: Different certification types (standard patrol, SWAT, no-knock entry, specialty weapons) carry separate recertification schedules – all tracked independently per officer.
  • Test result input screens: Armorers and range officers enter test results and updated certification status directly into ARMS through dedicated input screens – no paper forms or external systems required.
  • Issuance gate check: Before any weapon is issued, ARMS looks up the officer’s certification status for that weapon type. Expired certification or Do-Not-Arm flags automatically prevent issuance and highlight the item in red on the armorer’s screen.

Post Assignment Reconciliation

Post profiles define the weapons and gear required for each duty assignment. Before any issuance, ARMS cross-references the officer’s current custody against the post requirement – flagging shortfalls or unauthorized items immediately.
