ndividual weapon records include make, model, serial number, assigned officer, certification status, issue history, maintenance logs, inspections, and test-firing records.

Holsters, body armor, optics, radios, and all ancillary gear tracked with the same accountability standards as weapons, with full issuance and return logs per officer.
Ammunition & Magazines

Asset Acquisition & Registration
New weapons and equipment are registered in the ARMS database. Customized templates capture all relevant attributes – serial numbers, make, model, acquisition date, and value. RFID tags or barcode labels are applied and linked to the asset record.
Active Issuance & Return Tracking
Every issue and return event is logged with the officer’s identity, date and time, post assignment, and validation method (signature or PIN). Location data updates in real-time. Chain-of-custody records accumulate throughout the asset’s operational life.
Inspections, Maintenance & Certification
ARMS tracks due dates for weapon inspections, cleaning cycles, and test-firing requirements. Template screens record maintenance services and outcomes. Certification expiry dates for each authorized officer are monitored and flagged automatically before they lapse.
Audits & Inventory Reconciliation
After each shift change and on demand, armorers run RFID or barcode scans to validate that all weapons and gear are accounted for. Complete armory audits confirm locations of every asset. Missing items are flagged immediately with last known location and custody information.

Weapon Database Templates: Capture serial number, make, model, caliber, acquisition date, value, assigned officer, and full event history per weapon. Templates are pre-built and configurable to your inventory.
Chain-of-Custody Event Logs: Every transfer creates a permanent, timestamped event record attached to the weapon or asset. The full custody chain from acquisition through disposition is always accessible.
Personnel & Certification Tracking: Personnel records include weapon authorizations, certification types (standard, SWAT, no-knock), expiry dates, and current status — automatically cross-referenced at the point of issuance.
Post Assignment Profiles: Post profiles define the specific weapons and gear required for each duty assignment. ARMS reconciles an officer’s current custody against post requirements before every issuance.
